What are must-read books you'd recommend to someone in their 20s?
I started to read when I was 28. Below are the books that have had the biggest impact on my life.
1. Think And Grow Rich
Forget about it being a business book. This book will help you grow as a person.
2. How To Fail At Everything And Still Win Big
One of my all time favourite books. Great bit's of advice on how to change your life for the better.
If you enjoy this book check out Scott Adams other books - Win Bigly and Loserthink. All three will change your life for the better.
3. 12 Rules For Life
Simple actions you can take to improve your life and explanations on why they work.
Enjoy this? Check out Jordan Petersons sequel - 12 More Rules
4. Mental Models
Different ways of thinking. Thinking differently can allow you to find even better solutions to your problems.
5. Anything You Want
Short bits of great advice. Can finish this book in an hour or two.
6. The Rocco Effect - Set 1
A short guidebook on how to live a happier life.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rocco-Effect-Set-1/dp/B08MTNQLLC
If you enjoy this I recommend My other books - The Rocco Effect - ?, and The Rocco Effect - Set 2
7. Choose Yourself
The book that persuaded me to write my own book. Full of great advice.
If you want more check out @JamesAltucher 's newest book - Skip the line. Tips on how to advance faster.
8. Outliers
This book provides reasons as to why some people seem vastly different to others (The Beatles, Sports stars, Asians and their gift for maths etc..). Knowing why they succeed and you don't allows you to be more humble.
9. Alchemy
This will show you that most of our decisions aren't based on facts, but rather how we feel. Being aware of this makes our actions make a lot more sense.
10. Factfullness
This will show you how to read data and will give you far more hope for the world than you previously had.
