What Books Do You Love and Wish You Could Read For The First Time?
I love reading fiction and non-fiction, but I will focus on fiction here, due to the title given.
1. Pride and Prejudice
My absolute favourite. I have read it many times and will read it again
2. Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
I was mesmerised by the way she evoked the Nigerian setting.
3. Oscar and Lucinda by Peter Carey
Beautiful language. I have read this twice.
4. Atonement by Ian McEwan
I like most of his books
5. 1984 by George Orwell
I read this at school but will definitely read again
6. The Narrow Road to the Deep North by Richard Flanagan
It's about the Burmese railway
7. A Passage to India by EM Forster
8. The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
9. Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
10. The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton
11. A Memory Called Empire by Arkady Martine
This was fun
