What do you love/hate about your country/place you live?
The USA...
1. Freedom
Even during lock-downs, different states had different rules. We have freedom of speech, religion, expression. You can pretty much do whatever you want, as long as you are not harming others.
2. Opportunities
You can pretty much do anything you set out to achieve. We all have different starting points, of course. The US is very business friendly. Changing careers is not that hard. You might have to move, you might have to do something you don't want - but, you can shift easily in the US.
3. Diversity
Of race, religion, thought, culture, etc.
4. Landscape
The US is very different depending on where you go. The Pacific beaches are different than the Atlantic. We have beautiful state parks. We have mountain ranges. Big cities that all look and feel different.
5. States have their own feel/culture
Texas is wildly different than Connecticut. Florida is much different than Georgia. And they are right next to each other.
6. Three Branches of Government
Prevents any branch from being too powerful.
7. People are mostly friendly
At least to your face. Americans say hi. If your car breaks down, someone usually helps you out.
8. Bad Healthcare System
It has become too expensive. Quality care, though.
9. Bad College System
Similar to healthcare, the college system, aside from state colleges, have become way too expensive for what you get in return. You also cannot default on college loans.
10. Corrupt Government Officials
Probably similar for any country. The US has become a country where you can make a lot of money as an elected official. They no longer act in the best interest of their constituents.
