What gender equality and equity mean to me personally

Equality and equity sound so similar but there is a difference.

1. Equality means equal—males and females get to vote. They get the same ballot.

2. Equity means one gender is treated the same as the other even if they don’t have the skills or intelligence to do the job.

3. Equity means equalization. If I have $10 and you have $5 I need to give you part of my money.
