What I like about Valencia so far

1. Super nice beach

2. Nice people

3. I've been making friends

4. Language exchange events every night

5. Easy and pleasant to get around by bike

6. Also nice for walking

7. The big park that goes through the city

It used to be a river and they wanted to build a highway, this was 50 or 70 years ago (someone told me, I didn't fact-check this). Crazy to think how different the city would be and how it would not be nearly as popular.

8. It's fairly cheap

9. It's small-ish and not too hectic but at the same time there's everything I need

10. I seem to meet more locals than when I lived in Barcelona
