What internet clubs taught me
However, we called them Computer Clubs, we used to gather there to play counter strike, half life and quake, via local network. Who could imagine that in a decade we will be able to play online without leaving the house.
1. It’s not the same when it’s quite
I tried to crash some club 7 years ago... it was a spontaneous idea with friends. And it sucked. Nowadays, everyone there plays super quietly without communication, without fun. It's weird
2. The smell of the heated PC is so nostalgic
3. I miss early 2000
4. Wake up early
Usually, we gathered on Saturday morning, 8 am, it was much empty (so you were able to pick a better PC) and cheaper.
5. Socialization
A lot of friends from school and bloc
6. Negotiation
With club admin. To receive a better PC
7. Enough is enough
If you are spending the whole day there, then you are doomed
