1. Having a relationship with God is not about seeking sensory experiences.
Having a relationship with God is not about the perception of physical or emotional feelings through the senses, such as touch, sight, sound, taste or smell.
It is not about feelings of pleasure, pain, warmth, cold, pressure, or other physical sensations related to the body or emotions.
2. Having a relationship with God is not based on external stimuli.
The sensations you experience are not caused by something in the external environment but instead are generated internally by your mind.
In other words, what you perceive as seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting, or smelling does not correspond to something physically present in the world around you.
The sensations are instead created by your brain in a way that seems real to you, the one experiencing them.
3. Having a relationship with God is not based on the 5 senses.
Having a relationship with God is not based on the five senses of sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell because these senses are used to perceive an illusory world.
When you rely solely on the senses, you perceive things that are intangible, subjective, or based on imagined concepts.
You must look beyond the sensory realm and delve into the deeper spiritual connection with God that transcends your physical perception.
