What professions or people are under-appreciated?
My answer is with an assumption that the professionals in these professions are best at their game and not referring to those who fare poorly.
1. Politicians
Most people think it is businessmen who call the shots but politicians are more powerful in many cases however they are very under-appreciated most of the time.
2. HR Managers
I might be biased here but the amount of effort an HR manager puts in to balance the paradoxical needs of business and people is worth recognizing by any organization. The appreciation one receives right now is way too little.
3. Social Workers
They are the best of the lot because without their selfless volunteering work, most of the success we see as humans might not have been possible. Be it handling pandemics, or natural calamities, eradicating diseases or reducing poverty, the work of Social Workers can never be matched by anyone else. I have huge respect for them.
