Ideally one that is small, but not expensive
3. Fast internet access
Usual DSL will do
4. A small garden
To cultivate vegetables
5. A balcony
6. Nice neighbors
Preferably artists of some sort. Normal people with normal jobs are fine too.
7. In walking distance from a bus stop or a train station
8. In a secure area
9. No busy road nearby
10. Near a river or lake
But far enough away to be safe from flooding
