Who are your favorite musicians/composers?
1. The Pixies
Many bands were inspired by them, including Nirvana. So many catchy songs. They don't look like a typical rock band. Also, one of the few bands that has a female who sings a lot.

2. Led Zeppelin and The Beatles

The two all-time greats. Both stopped making music at the height of their popularity. Too many good songs to list.

3. Jane's Addiction
Another band that inspired many others. Broke up too soon. Came back. Very talented and charismatic band that is great to see in person.

4. Marvin Gaye
Died too young.

5. Interpol
Very distinct sound. Heavy bass guitar.
Favorite Song - The Specialist
6. Radiohead
One of the greatest bands ever. Style of music has changed and always evolving.
Favorite Song - Optimistic
7. The Cure
Lead singer Robert Smith has a very unique voice.
Favorite Song - Burn
Close 2nd Favorite - From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea
8. N.W.A.
Influential rap group that changed the game with members including Dr. Dre, Eazy E, and Ice Cube. Set the tone for Tupac and Biggie Smalls.
