Why do the streets have no name in this city?

1. To confuse invaders

2. to avoid tax collectors

3. Everybody who needs to know does

4. All the residents are part of a singular collective

5. The city streets rearrange themselves every night, making addresses useless

6. Addresses are immaterial because there are no actual inhabitants

7. There is no central government so no one is responsible for street naming

8. The streets actually have names. They just sound like the wind blowing

9. Citizens could never agree on names, so a compromise was arranged

10. All residents are imbued with an innate sense of direction so naming would be unnecessary and redundant.
