Why ice hockey is the best sport to watch.

Transparently, I am biased because:

1. I am Canadian.
2. I cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafs
3. My son and daughter both play hockey and my son’s goal is to play in the NHL

1. There’s a lot of action vs a super slow game like baseball.

2. You can fight people.

3. The players are on sharp steel blades on extremely slippery concrete.

4. Canada is generally the best even though it is 1/10th the size of the USA.

5. There’s a chance this year that the Maple Leafs will win a Stanley Cup for Toronto.

6. There is lots of contact.

7. You will see goalies make unbelievable saves.

8. The shooting accuracy of a player like Auston Matthews is beyond belief.

9. You have to be tough. Players get hit at high speeds, struck by pucks, and fall down.

10. Women’s hockey is also popular in Canada and the United States.
