Why I'm not a big fan of AI
Caveat: I don't know a vast amount about AI but these are my feelings right now.
1. Photos
I see lots of AI generated images. There's a look to them that I'm not very keen on. I love Michael Dean's writing but the images he uses don't do anything for me at all. Sorry Michael!
2. AI writing
I've tried generating writing using AI. While it can be a great place to begin, and breaks the challenge of the blank page, I wouldn't use it for anything more than that. Writing for me is about what comes out of my head, what inspires me.
3. Not authentic
The issue I have with AI in the very small context in which I've used it, is that it's not me. It's not created by me, seen by me. It's not come from me. It feels inauthentic.
4. Prove me wrong
I'm sure there are many people out there who love AI. I'd like to find some context in which it works for me. Any ideas?
