What are tactics to overcome a setback?
We can't always win on the first try. We are going to lose/fail the majority of the time. Thus, the ability to reflect + grieve in order to find the lesson faster or temporarily block out setbacks is critical in getting that 1% better.
1. Take some time for yourself: When you're feeling down it can be helpful to take some time for yourself to relax and recharge. Maybe go for a walk, read your favorite book, or take a nap.
2. Talk to somebody: It can also be helpful to talk to somebody about what you're going through – whether it's a friend, family member, therapist, or any other supportive person in your life. This will help you process what's happened and get some outside perspective.
3. Make a plan of action for how you will recover from the setback.
