10 Annoying things about Tesla cars and after sales service

    1. The car broke down

    2. They took it to the service center, gave it a scan, charged the batteries, said “good to go”

    3. It broke down again, 8 hours drive from home, 4 hours drive from destination.

    4. Their compensation scheme is 80€ per day for three days. They provide no replacement car. Out of pocket costs are not covered.

    5. They are not returning the car to our home city. The 80€ for three days are already spent and the additional travel and accommodation costs to pick up and drive home the Tesla car are not covered.

    6. Online forums are full of similar problems about the interface between the 12V battery and main battery. The solution the have offered is not in line with the solutions in the forums.

    7. They will replace the battery and say it’s fixed. We will see…

    8. Now to pick up the monster and see if it breaks down again.

    9. If it breaks down again we have the right to give back the car.

    10. Then we haven’t got the car anymore… hmmm 🤔
