10 chapters on career counseling book for sr. High School students.
During my time, I was clueless on what to pursue. As of now, the situation with internet might have improved but not information is available for our daily kids. This book would be helpful for them in charting their career options, what to expect from the college and what else they could do while being in the college.
1. Undertook Science.
Unable to visualize the physics, chemistry. Going for engineering, bsc.
2. College.
Theatre group, Rotract, AIESEC, Yoga groups.
3. Communication Skills.
Being professional while interacting with people, having improved communication shall be one of the goal from day 1 of 11std.
4. Computer Science.
Basics, Start with Web Dev, Built website, Get involved in web frameworks, If interested than start making websites for mobile, mobile application. Information Security, AI, Computer Networks, Ethical Hacking.
5. Financially Unstable.
The best way to take up a course in bsc, bca in any government owned institute. Its fees is suppose to be less and you will get a degree after end of the course. Start working on daily basis using online classes.
6. Teacher Guidance.
Teacher are suppose to be the guiding soul but in my experience, teacher were worse of the lot. They themselves were clueless about any kind of guidance and most of them were doing the job to fill their stomachs. Don't have any high hopes from clueless teachers. To skip classes, join or build any society and get it approved from another teacher. It would be good for attendance.
7. Friendship
Look for common interest. Shed out any insecurity you have about the other person, built friendship. Just stay true to yourself and everything will fall in place. Most of these girls would be the first one in their family to have any kind of education. Talk to them, feel good and have fun.
8. Movies, Games
You can just choose to watch movies or play online games. If you are doing both than you might miss out on making any other stuff in life. Remember, everybody have 24hrs and what we do during those hours is going to decide our future. You could be anybody but just maintain your 24 hours.
9. Inferior/Superior.
Write your own insecurity and overcome them. That's the best thing about college, you aren't suppose to get this time again. Stop getting influenced from outside, start finding influence in your own.
10. Real Life Role Model.
Have a real life role model, read his/her books, chart out a plan for yourself, act accordingly. This world was there before you, will be there after you. Stop considering yourself as important and start improving your life.
