10 differences between a positive attitude and a Yes! attitude
Based on Jeffrey Gitomer's book The Little Yellow Book of Yes! Attitude
1. Positive is a mindset. Yes is about the action you take.
2. You can be positive about work, but that doesn't mean you will volunteer to take on more work. A yes attitude sees the long-term benefit of taking on more responsibility.
3. A Yes! attitude says thank you when you receive feedback
4. If you're speaking with a customer, do you want them to be positive? Or say yes?
5. A positive attitude looks at things with a glass half full mentality. A yes attitude welcomes obstacles.
6. A yes! attitude is something you work at every day
Not saying you can't work at being positive, but some people are positive and think that's all they need
