10 Fitness Twitter Accounts That Aren’t Dry and Boring
I’ve studied and self-experimented with health and fitness for over a decade, so I can tell good advice from bad.
I also don’t like lazy one-dimensional tweets.
Here are 10 informative fitness Twitter accounts that aren’t dry and boring.
Save yourself a search and follow them:

1. @FitFounder
If I could only follow one fitness Twitter account, it would be Dan Go.
Dan shares insights beyond fitness and has a no-B.S. style that makes you respect his point of view.
I especially enjoy his tweets on fatherhood and how his priorities shifted as he entered family life.
2. @zaidkdahhaj
Zaid is my favorite fitness account I’ve discovered this year.
He tweets about a holistic approach to health and energy for men that focuses on underrated practices most people aren’t paying close enough attention to (e.g., chronic disease prevention)
3. @jackdcoulson
Jack will convince you that you don’t need a fancy gym membership to get into great shape.
He teaches you to eliminate excuses and train with little to no equipment:
2 things that hold too many people back from achieving their fitness goals.
4. @Rob_NBF
Rob is another good resource for busy people because he shows you how to get the most out of traditional gym strength training in very little time (less than 90 minutes per week).
He’s about practicing the fundamentals consistently, even when you’re short on time.
5. @DrNadolsky
Dr. Spencer makes some of the best fitness memes on the internet, but he also knows his stuff.
He is a family doctor who specializes in obesity, so he can cut through all the fads and B.S. to help normal, everyday people lose weight healthily and sustainably.
6. @AlpacaAurelius
Carnivore Aurelius is someone I follow despite not agreeing with everything he says because he is entertaining and makes a lot of good points.
If you are a fan of steak, sunlight, primal living, and aren’t easily offended, you’ll love this account.
7. @davidasinclair
Dr. Sinclair is the top dog of longevity research who is working on breakthroughs in life extension.
His lifestyle advice alone can add over a decade to your life if you follow it closely.
On Twitter, he shows a bit more of his personality and dry humor.
8. @TheForeverFit
Marshal McKenzie is unique because he posts daily transformation pics of himself when working on his own fitness goals.
He describes his habits and routines to get leaner and stronger along the way.
Good mix of fitness and motivational content.
9. @muscleforlife
Mike Matthews is the name on this list I’ve been following the longest (over 10 years and counting).
He has written some of the most effective books on losing fat and building muscle for the “gen-fit” crowd and helped countless people get into great shape.
10. @bengreenfield
Ben Greenfield is a fitness expert who’s into a unique combination of spirituality, ancient wisdom, fatherhood, and modern-day longevity biohacking using the most cutting-edge gizmos, gadgets, and supplements.
Highly recommend his podcast as well.
