10 foods to always have on hand
I can barely open a can and am most definitely not a cook but these are my go to choices.
P.S. I'm not including basics like butter, flour, salt, etc.
5. Tomato Sauce
I usually use red kidney beans but there are lots of variety.
7. Ground Beef
Bricks last the longest and can be sliced, shredded, etc.
Hardier than lettuce and I have more experience using it both cooked and raw.
10. Canned or Frozen Mixed Vegetables
Yes, I know fresh is best but this is more my level.
11. Peanut Butter
Not really that versatile to use (easier when baking) but I consider it a super food all by itself.
