10 Go-To Comfort Foods
1. Ginger
I love ginger. love the tingling feeling it gives my tongue
2. Marmite
Those of you outside the UK may not know Marmite. It's a dark yeast extract that I love spreading on toast in the morning (sometimes with cheese)
3. Coffee
Of course ... dark roasted espresso. No milk, sugar, creamer or other stuff.
4. Oatmeal
Love oats, always have. I prefer them raw with just a dash of milk in the morning.
5. Chocolate
oh yes, preferably with nuts in.
6. Figs
I just adore these fruits. I try to eat them raw. The only trouble is that they are expensive here in UK
7. Cake
Ginger cake, of course, or chocolate cake.
8. more coffee
because one cup is rarely enough.
9. Cheese
A good crumbly cheese. I used to love red cheshire cheese but you don't see that so much nowadays.
10. Beer
dark, strong and in a pint glass, please.
