10 healthy things to eat every day
1. Water
I prefer a glass of lemon water first thing in the morning. You are severely dehydrated after waking up, I mean you haven't drank anything for 8 hours.
2. Greens
Any kind of greens (veggies) is great.
3. Yogurt
I'm not super fussed about what kind of yogurt, but I suppose greek yogurt without a lot of sugar is preferable.
4. Nuts of some kind
Add it to yogurt and it's a two for one.
5. Fruit / dried fruit
If you can't get access to fresh fruit, dried fruit can do. Make sure there's no added sugar.
6. Green tea or matcha
7. Coconut oil
I like adding it to my green tea or coffee. Go easy on this because it can give you a severe case of diarrhea.
8. Protein powder
An easy way to remember this: 30 g of protein within 30 min of waking up.
9. Spices
Salt and pepper make everything taste great. Another easy spice that makes lots of things taste great: Montreal steak spice.
10. Herbs
Adding herbs to anything makes it taste way better. Bland rice? Add some seaweed (I guess that's not strictly a herb). Bland bread? Add some rosemary.
