1. Forget about peace on Earth
It ain't gonna happen. And trying too hard to get there is likely to lead to terrible consequences.
2. Which doesn't mean we shouldn't try to increase peace
It's the utopian ideal that I think is dangerous.
3. Accept that war will always be a thing but keep finding ways to regulate it and minimize suffering
4. Forget about the UN
To be fair, they might be doing amazing things. I don't know. But considering they do things such as appointing Saudi Arabia as the head of women's rights (or whatever it's called) and the extreme anti-Israel bias, I just can't take the UN seriously. Feel free to try to change my mind about this.
5. Don't try to get rid of religion
6. But acknowledge that not all religions are equal in terms of harm/benefit
7. Make the use of psychedelics (including MDMA) widespread (in a responsible manner)
This could also be a terrible idea, but it sounds good to me.
