10 Ideas to Exercise More in the Day

    1. Play tug with the dog.

    2. Alternate squats and stretching when picking up toys to play catch with the dog.

    3. Do 5 jumping jacks every time you get out of a chair and before you sit back down.

    4. Put a heavy weight in the living room. Lift it every time you pass it.

    5. Do a 5 minute exercise video first thing in the morning

    6. Put on dance inspiring music

    7. Put weights on desk. Lift them when reading on the computer.

    8. Do extra toilet squats every time you go to the bathroom.

    9. Walk or hop sideways when going from room to room to use different leg muscles.

    10. Do leg exercises (laying on the floor) or lift hand weights (sitting on the couch) when watching tv.
