10 most used apps
1. Twos
Twos is such a great app. For a while I didn't get the full benefit from Twos because I didn't want to usurp my beloved Obsidian. But, when I finally went all in with Twos, it made all the difference. Twos is a to do list app, a reminders app, somewhere to log Things. You can manage different projects by using Lists and Sublists. I keep my Daily Logs in Twos and also copy over my NotePD lists - it helps me keep track of when I've created a list and make sure I maintain my streak.
2. NotePD
Writing lists in NotePD has become a compulsion. I can't believe I've kept at it for so long and have kept my streak. It's been a great challenge to come up with a new list every day. Some lists are more polished than others. NotePD has made me think every day. The community here is just brilliant.
3. Gmail
I used Gmail for years and then dabbled with Outlook as a cost saving measure. After 12 months (and some Outlook glitches), I returned to a new design on Gmail. I love Gmail because it has so many great functions and I can tailor it how I want it. I have multiple email addresses that all filter into the same Inbox.
4. Obsidian
Just such a brilliant note taking app. I've simplified my setup over the past few months and it's now quite minimal. I use it mostly for writing and publishing my digital garden.
5. Napkin
I've used Napkin for some time as a place to store thoughts. It is particularly useful for bringing together ideas for writing. It's a great way to capture random ideas and make sure you don't forget them. I like to use the voice to text function to remember things. I also send ideas from Twos to Napkin.
6. Podcasts
I listen mostly to podcasts in the car. I have a few favourites that I like to keep up to date with.
7. Google Calendar
I have multiple calendars for different purposes. I love being able to integrate other apps with Google Calendar so that I have a view of everything, all in one place.
8. YouTube
I mostly watch informational videos. Stuff about tech, tools and apps. I prefer shorter videos. I watch YouTube a lot for ideas on how to use Obsidian and Twos.
9. Kindle
I mostly read books on the Kindle app on my phone. It's always with me and great to be able to read whenever I have some free time.
10. Banking App
I do a quick daily check of my finances and reconcile outgoings. I've done this for a long time. It takes less than five minutes and I know exactly where I'm up to.
