10 mysteries I'd love to see solved

Ordered by: most to least niche
1. Who was the Zodiac Killer?
I watched way too many History Channel shows as a kid for this not to be on my mind.
2. Who stole the Rembrandts from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in the 1990s?
This is a very Boston-specific item. Even if we were to recover the paintings, by now they might be damaged beyond repair.
3. What happened to Amelia Earhart?
It's unlikely we'll ever know this, but our hypothesis about her crashing is probably right.
4. What do the Linear A tablets say?
Who knows what clues to the ancient world they might contain? Although, they could just as well be something mundane like records of grain stores.
5. What's in KFC's secret recipe?
I would love to be able to replicate this at home, but the likelihood of KFC releasing their signature recipe is approaching zero.
6. Who built the pyramids, and how are they so precise?
We have theories about this, but maybe it was aliens!
7. What causes gravity?
The world of physics is chock-full of unexplained mysteries.
8. Are we alone?
More alien talk...
9. Does God exist?
I don't see us finding a way to figure this out.
10. Why are we here?
This question kind of follows from the above.
