10 Reasons to Stay in the Corporate Rat Race

You know you'll receive a paycheck.

It's absurdly expensive to pay for insurance outside of an employer.

Running your own business is definitely harder. You can hide and coast in a corporate setting, depending on the role. Also, after you have some experience, you might even be on auto-pilot.

You might like your co-workers. You may not have many people you hang out with outside of work.

Staying inside the box is easier than venturing out into the unknown. Even if you switch companies, 'the devil you know is often better than the devil you don't.'

Most corporate roles are M-F. 9-5. No weekends. Not awful.

Have read most people leave because of poor management.

If you work at a well-known organization.

Larger organizations have more resources available to do your job.

Often easier to learn while getting paid than doing it on your own.
