    1. It's important to make efforts to socialize

I became severely socially handicapped during my teenage years. Fortunately, I gradually put myself out there and eventually became socially comfortable, extroverted and confident.

    2. You can turn out totally fine by not going to school at all

But I don't know if you can expect most kids to turn out fine with no structure at all. I could have turned out much worse.

    3. I should have worked harder towards what I was interested in

I was convinced that I wanted to be a filmmaker. I did make some efforts towards it (I volunteered on a few films sets), but I think I should have pursued this more seriously.

    4. As long as you embrace your curiosity, you won't be any less knowledgeable than most people

    5. It may have made me even more curious

    6. It's an opportunity to get deep into something you're interested in

I may have spent too much time watching movies, but I got really into learning English and I'm grateful for that.

    7. It's an opportunity to build a unique path for yourself

    8. It allowed me to be naive

    9. It made my life more difficult, which eventually strengthened me

    10. It made it easier to explore my creativity
