I love this post! It's always interesting to look back on the things we loved as kids and see how they've influenced our lives. I can definitely relate to the love of "Choose Your Own Adventure" books - they were a staple of my childhood as well. And it's great to see that you were already developing a sense of responsibility by tending to your tomato garden and cleaning the house each morning.
