10 Things I Miss About the COVID-19 Lockdowns
Inspired by Bill's idea. Thanks, @BillBergeman!
1. The slow pace of life
2. The calls with family and friends
I reconnected with friends and family members. Everyone was zooming.
3. The urgency to get things done
My team built a solution for the whole company to be 100% remote within days.
4. Increased Creativity
Tight deadlines and 100% remote.
Touchless technology.
5. Netflix
Watched Harry Potter many times :)
6. A deeper appreciation for essential workers
The lockdowns highlighted the important work of essential workers, who kept society functioning during a challenging time, and many people developed a deeper appreciation for their efforts.
These stories should be highlighted often.
7. A greater sense of community
I love scenes from around the world of people singing from their balconies, etc.
