10 Things I Need To Do To Get Back on Track
Lately, I have been spread thinly on many things. Time to zoom out.
Building things from scratch is not easy!
1. Sleep early
I have been working late lately. Building things need discipline.
2. Evening planning
One of the key 20/80 or even 1/50 activities I am not consistently doing.
3. Sacred hour for Writing
The quality of my ideas is better in the morning. This is a 1/50 activity that I need to protect. It is sacred for a reason :)
4. Move more
I have a standing desk, but I rarely stand.
5. Take longer walks
6. Master the 1/50 Rule
I notice myself doing things that I can delegate. I love programming, so I do some coding sometimes. But I should be reaching out to prospects and working on bigger ideas.
7. Intermittent fasting
8. Meditate
I realize that meditation is absolutely a 1/50 activity that is as important as reading.
9. Golf or Chess
I need to get back to my practice. I haven't been on the green for a while.
10. Day dreaming
This is one of my favorite pastimes. I do it while walking or after reading the first page of a book. No wonder why it takes me a while to finish a book :)
