10 Things I Need To Do To Get Back on Track

Lately, I have been spread thinly on many things. Time to zoom out.

Building things from scratch is not easy!

    1. Sleep early

    0

I have been working late lately. Building things need discipline.

    2. Evening planning

    0

One of the key 20/80 or even 1/50 activities I am not consistently doing.

    3. Sacred hour for Writing

    0

The quality of my ideas is better in the morning. This is a 1/50 activity that I need to protect. It is sacred for a reason :)

    4. Move more

    0

I have a standing desk, but I rarely stand.

    5. Take longer walks

    0

    6. Master the 1/50 Rule

    0

I notice myself doing things that I can delegate. I love programming, so I do some coding sometimes. But I should be reaching out to prospects and working on bigger ideas.

    7. Intermittent fasting

    0

    8. Meditate

    0

I realize that meditation is absolutely a 1/50 activity that is as important as reading.

    9. Golf or Chess

    0

I need to get back to my practice. I haven't been on the green for a while.

    10. Day dreaming

    0

This is one of my favorite pastimes. I do it while walking or after reading the first page of a book. No wonder why it takes me a while to finish a book :)

Hi @younes. For the standing desk, I set up a system that works for me.
In the morning, I work standing up, in the afternoon, I work sitting down (if I feel like it).

Hey @younes : I saw you referencing 1/50 quite a bit- is that a concept like 80/20. just curious!

Hi Ria, yes it is the result of running 20/80 iteratively 3 times or 4 times I think. I need to do the math :). James talks about it in Skip The Line. It helps me get better at the 20/80 rule. I sometimes struggle with the rule :)
