10 things that you'd like to accomplish in the final (27) days of the year
1. Clear December to do lists
December has turned into a busy work month with deadlines and dependencies. I have a ridiculous number of things to action. I have quite a list of personal/Chris stuff too. There are some things I absolutely have to do and others that are less critical. Would be good to reach Christmas Eve having ticked off the important items.
2. Think about 2023
This is another list altogether. I haven't been very creative this year, my writing has gone by the wayside. I'm making mind maps showing things I want to do, and I'm figuring out how I can do them.
3. Go to the carol service
We don't go to church as a rule but we do attend key services as it's good to be part of the community. We went to the carol service last year. I don't remember a lot about it but I do remember the coffee and cake. That's probably not what I was supposed to remember!!
4. See the Christmas tractor lights
Local farmers put Christmas lights on their tractors and drive through the villages. We only saw some tractors driving along the A515 last year so hoping we see them a bit more close up this year.
5. Have a few days to chill out
It's been a crazy busy year and I feel as though I've had very little time to relax. Hoping to have a few days to contemplate and not do much.
6. Walk
Something else that's gone by the wayside. It would be good to start getting back into the routine of walking.
7. Get a Christmas wreath
Last year I bought a lovely one from the local florist but, this year, I'm thinking of making my own. I've seen some ideas that I might try.
8. Read
I have a few books I've started and not finished. I'd like to have some reading time to immerse myself in a good book.
9. Type some letters
I've not typed much of late. It would be great to spend an afternoon sitting at the typewriter, typing letters.
10. Charity shop
I've still got some stuff to go to the charity shop. It would be good to tick that off my list.
