10 things to re-think about habits

    1. Do less

    If you are finding it hard to exercise for 30 minutes, exercise for 10 minutes, 5 minutes, or even 1 minute.

    2. Three times a week is a habit

    You don't have to do something every day for it to count as a habit.

    3. Schedule it in

    If it's not in your schedule, it won't get done.

    4. Each of your habits is a vote for the identity of the person you want to be

    5. Habits stem from the kind of person you think you are

    If you think you're a morning person, waking up early is going to be easier.

    6. Make bad habits harder to do by removing the trigger, changing the environment, or removing the reward

    7. You can skip a day, but don't skip two days in a row

    8. To form new habits, try 'attaching' it to existing habits

    9. Don't compare yourself with others

    10. You can build great habits too - one small step at a time
