10 thoughts about learning the piano for about a week

1. It's addictive
2. Why do I feel compelled to do it more than other things?
3. I thought it would be harder
Of course I know it's gonna get a lot harder, but I'm surprised I can almost play a whole song (while looking at the video showing how to play it). I can't sing at the same time yet though!
4. The song I stuck with is Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi
I practiced it for hours and hours.
5. I also tried the beginning of Another Love by Tom Odell and Let It Be by the Beatles, as well as some other ones very briefly
6. I just looked for songs that are suitable for beginners
7. I should probably start learning the basics though
8. I can see myself continuing
9. I find myself amused when I fail
And I'm grateful that I'm able to be playful rather than take it too seriously.
10. But sometimes I do get annoyed, slightly
From what Andrew Huberman says, frustration means you're learning.
