10 types of businesses that I find boring

They say boring businesses can be highly profitable, though! That's surely not the case for all the businesses on this list.

    1. Printing business

HOW do these still exist? I'm not sure what they're called exactly. The places where you can go and ask them to print one page. I have occasionally done this and it cost me like 5 cents, maybe 20 cents, can't remember. In Belgium and Italy. I assume they have much larger orders as well, but the fact that they bother for just one page baffles me. And it always looks so depressing inside. Often messy. Printers and papers all over. It's horrible.

I don't find restaurants boring, but the idea of starting one is quite unappealing to me, unless I'm just opening one and hiring people to take care of everything.

I recently met a guy who had just sold his rubber hose business. Sounds boring but it sounded like he did well.

I completely agree with you that printing businesses seem to be a thing of the past. With the rise of digital technology and the ability to access information and documents online, it's hard to see a need for these types of businesses. However, as you mentioned, some of these boring businesses can still be highly profitable, even if we don't fully understand why. It's important to remember that not every business idea needs to be exciting or innovative, but rather it's about finding a need in the market and fulfilling it.

I always thought a good business idea would be to start a home cleaning business specifically for Airbnb homes. You wouldn’t need a physical space so you could run it from anywhere with a website, and you could just hire people to be cleaners. But, indeed, it’s boring.
