10 underrated musicians

YouTube has enabled a generation of "bedroom shredders" that don't seem to perform live often or ever.
1. Tory Slusher
I just discovered her a few days ago. One of the best guitarists I have ever heard.
2. Mars Cowling
Great bass player in the Pat Travers band.
3. Mick Karn
Great bass player from the band Japan. Apparently widely known in Europe but fairly obscure in the US.
4. Scott Thunes
Bass player from the Frank Zappa band in the 1980s. He only played Zappa's music and was apparently very opinionated and challenging to get along with, but a great voice on the instrument. Has played with Dweezil Zappa.
Here he is playing solo Hellbusker
5. Mark Mothersbaugh
One of the front men from Devo. He wrote the music for the Rugrats, Lego Movie and many more. He is fairly widely known but should really be a household name among musicians.
He has the forearm keyboard here:
6. Rick Graham
Great guitarist:
7. Marshall Harrison
He is a great guitarist with a "day job." He does a lot of live streaming and also plays piano and occasionally explanations of advanced math concepts:
8. Greg Koch
absolute wizard of blues based playing and very funny:
9. Jeff Daniels (from Dumb and Dumber)
He can play guitar really well!
10. Junxi Lu
At a tiny 9 years old it is hard to even understand what this kid is playing because it is so fast!
He does blues also:
