10 ways to get motivated when I’m trying to avoid going to the gym

Create a system that rewards gym-going.

I take a page out of the Scott Adams school of working out and find that little treat that gives me a the anticipatory dopamine hit I need to keep the machine running after a gym session. Often that's a coffee. Simple as that. Sometimes a Larabar.
