Winter can be a long and arduous season for a lot of people. I tend to flag right around the end of January. Here are some things you can use to keep your energy up and stay focused.

    3. Start the Spring Health System Readjustment Now

    I just did this one and it's definitely a game-changer. Dry January is basically most of the year now.

    4. Find a Calm Indoor Hobby to Learn

    I'm looking at painting miniatures for Blood Bowl/Warhammer.

    5. Play in the Snow

    I don't ski or snowboard, but I should still enjoy the season by getting out to experience more of nature while it's here. Lots of interesting critters and weather phenomena show up in the winter months.

    6. Play More Games

    The usual excuse of "hey I should be outside, not inside playing games all day" no longer applies. Yes! Play those games.

    7. Keep Fixing up the Downstairs "Lounge"

    It'll be a hell of a reading and game room when it's done. Indoor projects and improvements are key to staying focused when it's dark early and cold.

    8. Plan a Late Winter Vacation

    Already got this one planned and booked.

    9. Keep Writing

    I have a second Legacy of the Cage book brewing and it's time to get it organized, copywritten, and ready to playtest.

    10. Don't Fixate on Spring

    It'll be here. Don't wish the season away. It's still beautiful in its own way.
