2. Cut out as much filler / background as possible
3. Create an actionable subject line
4. Be clear when you want something
5. If the email is too long, have a conversation instead
6. Do as much work upfront so the other person does not have to do as much
7. Send emails first thing in the morning
8. Before you send an email, try to answer the question yourself (or take action)
9. Tell people what you have done / tried so they don't give you advice on trying something you've already done
10. Don't send emails in the weekends or evenings
