10 Ways You Can Be More Productive During The Day

Using a prompt again

    1. Wake up early

    If I sleep in, it sets the mood for the day of being lazy.

    2. Plan my days activities the day before

    Planning the day in the morning is a time waster.

    3. Get right to my most important tasks

    4. Do. Not. Go. To. YouTube.

    Wait... those videos took 3 hours of my day?!?!

    5. Use a timer

    intervals like the pomodoro technique have been helpful for me.

    6. Make rewards for myself for being productive

    7. Set a time for wasting time

    Ex. I can do whatever I feel like between noon and 1pm

    8. Have an accountability partner

    Someone to hold me responsible for my productivity.

    9. Put phone on other side of the room while working

    notifications, notifications and more notifications...

    10. Be compassionate towards myself

    acknowledging that productivity is a struggle for many people and not beating myself up about it makes if feel easier to get back to it.
