12 things I changed my mind about in the past three years
I was going to try "this past year" and found it too hard. I admit it.
1. Reincarnation
I recently watched a panel discussion about consciousness and reincarnation hosted by John Cleese, and yesterday I listened to Scott Barry Kaufman's interview with Jim Tucker about the science of reincarnation. This is nuts. I can't believe I'm saying this.
2. God
OK, maybe there is one. Or several. Or not. But this whole thing is so freaking weiiiiiiiiiird.
3. Being single VS Being in a committed relationship
A relationship is so much more meaningful.
4. My ambitions
I was led astray by a lack of self-love. I still have ambitions but they've taken a different shape.
5. Traveling all the time
Travel is still important to me, and I still like the idea of living in different places, but changing places every few days/weeks unnecessarily complicates certain aspects of life.
6. Government
7. Religion
8. Hollywood
9. Happiness
10. Abortion
I'm still too much of a coward to have a strict opinion on this, but at least I see it in a more nuanced way than I used to.
11. Career specialization
12. "Business stuff"
It's actually really interesting.
