1. You need a product or service.
Most business owners spend the majority of their time focusing on their products or service.
Most business owners believe that their product or service is so great to a fault.
2. You need a sales pitch or marketing message. (Offer)
Hardly any time is spent crafting a sales pitch or marketing message that's compelling, that works, that speaks to the people in a way that causes them to desire and be interested in and want to buy what you have to offer.
People aren't going to give you money for your product or service just because you want them to.
You're not going to be able to fully leverage all the many available delivery systems until you get your offer right.
And there are many people that will be happy to take your money to deliver a message about your product or service. Even if the message they're delivering is lame, boring or pathetic, they will still take your money.
And being good at selling advertising has absolutely nothing to do with knowing how to write and create good ad copy.
Just because you know how to sell website design that's not the same as selling a website that generates leads on demand. These are two entirely different skill sets.
3. You need a delivery system.

The rest of the business owner's time is spent trying to figure out how they're going to get the word out about their product or service.
The number of delivery systems is endless.
But until you get #2 right (your offer) your business will not take flight and a sale won't happen.
