1. Everybody acts in what they perceive to be their own self interest all the time
2. What an individual perceives as their own self interest will be how you take their measure
3. Never give people enough rope to hang YOU with it. Especially people you love
4. Understand what 'look out for number 1' actually means
5. Men: Never date a woman who is crazier than your mother. Women: never date a man who is prettier than you are
6. If you want true success, raise you income to meet your expectations, not the other way around
7. Don't take less. If you want something go for it.
8. For wage earners, your only job should be to get a better job. Keep your resume up to date and in circulation
9. Don't set goals. Set processes in place that will allow to get to where you want to be
