Ladies and gentlemen, this is Sarah Anderson reporting to you live from Northern Colorado.
"Hey there Mighty Companions, let's talk about a simple yet powerful way to connect with our inner selves and the world around us. It's called 'A 5 Finger Prayer,' and it's like a special handshake with our Higher Selves. Each finger represents something meaningful, and by using them, we can send out positive vibes and intentions to the Universe. So, let's dive into this unique way of prayer and self-reflection!" #a5fingerprayer
1. The Thumb, now that's Gratitude.
Gratitude is your altitude. The Thumb is appreciation. The Thumb is grateful for the Isness of Life. The Thumb is the moment you have a shift in perception. Gratitude is grateful for everything. She's grateful for the limitless love available to us all. The Thumb is without a doubt grateful for God's Eternal Love.
2. The Index Finger, now that's Forgiveness.
The Index Finger is kind of peculiar until you get to know Her. She recognizes that her judgments are based on her false perceptions. She knows that forgiveness benefits her most because thoughts do not leave their host. The Index Finger says that forgiveness frees her from all the negativity and brings her a great sense of joy. "It dissolves all of my perceived barriers," she once shared with me. The Index Finger is a reminder of our shared Oneness.
3. The Middle Finger, now that's Love.
I could tell you that The Middle Finger is all there is but that probably wouldn't mean a whole lot to you. The Middle Finger is complete acceptance of yourself and others without judgment. You're gonna love this next one. The Middle Finger embraces everyone, regardless of their perceived flaws or mistakes.
The Middle Finger is the springboard in life. The Middle Finger rows merrily, merrily, down the stream. The Middle Finger is foundational. The Middle Finger is always about what's best for the Greater Whole. She understands that separation is an illusion. I love it when she says, "We are One." And since The Middle Finger is all there is, The Middle Finger must be correct.
The Middle Finger transcends fear, pain, and suffering. Simply put, The Middle Finger is Joy in disguise, so enJoy Her Presence. Joy to the World - The Middle Finger Has Come...actually, She never left but you ain't heard it from me....Let the World receive The Middle Finger. Without the Middle Finger, you have no thing.
4. The Ring Finger, now that's Inner Guidance.
The Ring Finger is intuitive. The Ring Finger is patient, understanding, and compassionate. She's the map. She doesn't go anywhere uninvited. She's outside of time. She gives but never takes. She asks for nothing. She wants for nothing. She is the Voice of Reason. She's the part of your mind that is truly helpful. She always speaks last if she speaks at all. The Ring Finger's Plan always works. She's your Inner Voice. She's the entanglement that you seek. Once you follow The Ring Finger you don't want to go back.
5. The Pinky Finger, now that's Innocence.
The Pinky Finger, now that's Innocence: Everybody loves Pinky Finger because she says the most marvelous things, "What you think and believe happened, never did." Wow, maybe she's onto something. Pinky Finger says that our essence, the part of us that is beyond the ego and its judgments, is totally and wholly innocent. Your innocence is not based on your actions or behaviors but is a fundamental aspect of who you are. Pinky Finger is adamant about not being associated with Guilt. "I ain't got nothing to do with Guilt, that boy's up to no good.
As soon as she let go of her judgments, grievances, and guilt, she said she felt so much better and innocent too. Yep, Pinky Finger, AKA, "Seeing with the Eyes of Love," said "When we see others and ourselves through the eyes of love, we see past what their body is doing or saying to their innocent core. She said it's about seeing the truth beyond mere appearances.
