A Million Miles to Truth. (3 min 21 sec)

    1. It's a bustling day at the intersection of Harbor and Main, where two roads converge, and four peoples' paths unexpectedly intertwine.

Daxton, standing at the northeast corner, is waiting for the bus to take him to his job interview. Elowen, positioned at the southwest corner, is on her way to meet her friends for lunch.
Suddenly, a loud crash echoes through the air as two cars collide in the middle of the intersection. Zephyr, the driver of a red sedan, feels the jarring impact as Seraphina's blue SUV slams into the side of his vehicle.
Daxton, startled by the noise, turns his head just in time to witness the collision. From his vantage point, it appears that Seraphina's SUV ran the red light and crashed into Zephyr's sedan, which had the right of way. He sees the sedan spin and comes to a stop near the crosswalk.
Elowen, on the opposite corner, has a different perspective. She glances up from her phone just as the vehicles collide. From her angle, it seems that Zephyr's sedan was speeding and may have entered the intersection after the light turned red. She watches as the SUV's front end crumples upon impact.
Zephyr, dazed and confused, sits behind the wheel of his now-damaged sedan. He recounts the moments leading up to the crash, certain that he had the green light and was proceeding through the intersection when Seraphina's SUV unexpectedly hit him. He remembers the screeching of tires and the sensation of his car spinning out of control.
Seraphina, shaken and disoriented, steps out of her SUV. She recalls approaching the intersection and seeing the light turn yellow. She believes she had enough time to make it through before the light turned red. In her mind, Zephyr's sedan came out of nowhere, and she had no time to react before the collision.
As the police arrive on the scene and begin to take statements, it becomes clear that each individual's account of the event differs slightly. Daxton insists that Seraphina ran the red light, while Elowen maintains that Zephyr was speeding. Zephyr and Seraphina both believe they had the right of way.
The truth is, that the objective reality of what happened in that intersection remains elusive. Each person's perception of the event is colored by their unique vantage point, their pre-existing beliefs, and their own interpretations. The stories they tell will likely change over time, as memories fade and details become fuzzy.
In the end, the collision at the intersection of Harbor and Main serves as a powerful reminder that objective truth is impossible to pin down. Our understanding of reality is always filtered through the lens of our own perceptions. What we believe to be the absolute truth is just an approximation, a story we tell ourselves to make sense of the world around us.
