A simple method that radically increases your chances of achieving your goals.
We've all had that energy spike where we rewrite our next goals for the next quarter.
We create a perfect execution plan.
And then it happens. Life gets in the way.
Emails, emergencies, kids, the unexpected.
"Where are you on learning Spanish".
Damn, I never should have told him.
1. What works well:
I'm a fan of systems that help achieve goals. After all, it's basically a focus thing.
I've had to try just about everything.
What works well:
- Writing them down (obviously, everyone does it.)
- Rereading them every day (you start to prune)
- Asking yourself a question and rating yourself from 1 to 10 (you've lost a bunch.)
2. But what works best for me is
(I don't believe in a miracle recipe, everyone has to find their own.)
- Read them in the morning (My 3 main goals. Less than 10 sec).
- And write a line under each one with the date of the day. What did I do yesterday to advance this goal?
3. Why not try it?
More goals achieved means more success.
