Advice for a recent graduate

    1. Live like a college student as long as you can

    This is a great way to save money.

    2. Be willing to pay your dues early on

    This applies to whevever you think you've started your career.

    3. Save money in a Roth account

    Whether that is a Roth IRA or a Roth 401k. You can put money in a traditional account later when you're making more money but when the time comes to start taking money out, you'll be glad you have Roth assets.

    4. Do things for your future self

    Take care of your health and give your future self as much optionality as you can.

    5. Learn how to listen

    6. Cultivate interests beyond work

    7. Time goes quickly, don't waste it being unhappy

    8. Take calculated risks

    9. Continue to learn

    Get more training, learn new skills.

    10. $100,000

    If you can make it 30 with $100,000-$150,000 saved, you will have tremendous optionality for the rest of your life.
