Authors I've only recently discovered
1. Paulo Coelho
Magic and Christian mysticism understandable for everyone in pretty stories. The only one I read so far is „Brida“.
2. Cormac McCarthy
There seems to be a lot of hype about him right now because of his two latest novels. His novels do not have classic plots. He tells brutal stories and the protagonists repeatedly express deep thoughts. The descriptions are of a primitive beauty.
3. Michael Singer
So far, I only know "The Surrender Experiment". Apparently, amazing things happen when you let life itself guide you and don't listen to your likes and dislikes.
4. Ann Handley
She has already written a book about writing. Title: "Everybody writes". There is now a revised edition. She shares great tips on style, revising copy, and different types of content.
5. Ishiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga
They write good introductions to Adler's Individual Psychology as a practical guide to life. So far I only know: "The Courage to be Disliked."
The practical lesson from these books would make you a very authentic and very tolerant person.
