Avoid being burnt out by stopping and resting and doing something else.
1. Take a walk with nothing in your hands - maybe not even your phone.
2. Cancel all meetings for the next two hours - call it a mental health break.
3. Read a good book or something light that will take your mind off work.
4. Do not pour out an alcoholic drink just yet. Spend time in the kitchen fooling around.
5. Speak briefly with your top few favourite friends
6. Of course you must watch some comedy. Even if it's something you've watched before.
7. Write down thoughts about what's burning you out. Just write a list for now (Yes - you can use Notepd)
8. Plan your upcoming holiday. If there is none on the horizon, still, plan one.
9. Spend time at a BBQ Grill near you. (And refer to 4. above)
10. Carve out half a day for 'Paperwork' every week and dedicate that to one or more of the above. While being disconnected entirely.
