Best ways to start the day

    1. With exercise

    I swim, bike, run, or go to the gym before doing anything and this makes me feel accomplished all day long.

    2. By helping others

    If I get my kids ready for school or drive my wife to work I feel like we all get off on the right foot and this sets us up for a positive day ahead

    3. With breakfast

    I enjoy no food more than breakfast, especially if after exercise. It is a sort of reward that prepares me to work and be fueled for hours.

    4. With coffee

    Whether part of breakfast or not, this one is probably understood by most

Great list. To add to this, I always read for awhile and, lately, I like watching some video on YouTube that teaches me something new.

Normally it's simple: Two pieces of wholegrain toast with a little bit of peanut butter maybe or some jam.

And coffee.

If it's after a monster run or ride (3-5 hours) it's going to have a lot more - eggs, sourdough bread, hash brown, avocado, a protein shake, water.

And coffee.
